Showing Your Love for Redbox Has Never Been Easier!
Redbox launched a social media contest on Monday, September 19th. In less than 48 hours they received more than 111,000 engagements and 700 unique photo entries from their biggest fans. Redbox customers nationwide are showing their love for the brand by hugging one of the 28,000 kiosks and sharing it across their social graph. This is all monitored through the Brickfish powered platform.
The “Share your Love” campaign has made it clear that redbox consumers at the kiosk, on twitter and on Facebook are all dedicated fans. Many participants are dressing up in costume or creating custom redbox clothing to wear in their entries.
The contestant simply uploads their photo to the Brickfish platform using their pre-existing facebook/twitter account. From here, the real fun begins! Participants are encouraged to share their photo across their social network where their friends can vote, review, comment and help share their submission.
